Acrylic/Watercolor Class
for Beginners
Objective:
- Help students develop a basic understanding of acrylic/watercolor painting.
- Enable students to acquire both the Oriental and Western styles of painting techniques.

Personal Art Achievements
Danny Han-Lin Chen began studying art at a very young age when he started his training in oil painting. His instructors, many of Master Artist status, encouraged him early by entering his works in world-class competitions in such countries as Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Germany, USA and Canada. Danny consistently won high honors, which encouraged him even further. Becoming an associated member (AFCA) of the Federation of Canadian Artists in 1984 has enhanced his presence on the art scene.
Art Classes and Workshop
Danny is often in-transit between his many teaching responsibilities. His 30 years of teaching experience, diversity in knowledge and compassion in teaching makes him a very popular instructor. His regular classes and workshops cover various topics such as portrait, animal, floral, landscape and abstract; he teaches techniques in different media such as pencil, Chinese brush painting, watercolor, acrylic and Oil.
Chinese Brush Painting Technique Book & Video
Limitation in space and time does not stop Danny from sharing his knowledge and compassions for Art. His book, Chinese Brush Painting Techniques has been sold over 50 thousand copies throughout North America which will be translated to various languages to make available all over the world. He also make his painting techniques available through DVD video and in the demo section of his website, www.chensgallery.com
